Immigrated April 6, 1841, crossed
in the ship "Caroline", reached Nauvoo (by way
of
had chills and fever.Mother and
family had gone twenty miles West. She
returned and got him and took him
to Winter Quarters - he had chills every
other day all the way there. In the Spring William had Black Scurvy. They dug
artichokes, onions, and horse
radish. William went to
and started back. He met his mother's team and sent her driver on
to Winter
Quarters with his load and went
back for provisions for starting West.
Traveled in Bishop Hunter's
hundred, Joseph Horn's fifty, and William Taylor's
ten. Arrived in
Fall of 1849 and returned in the
Spring of 1852. He moved to Nephi in the
Fall
of 1852. He reached Nephi November 18, 1852. He was married to Emma Jenkins
by Bishop Jacob G. Bigler in
Nephi. They were sealed in the Endowment

He and his
wife raised their children in
Moses Lake, Washington and then they livedtwenty

retirement. They had lived in St. George

July 1995.
Farrel ... filled a mission to
been extracting names from
Scandinavian parish records. He had a
beautiful
tenor voice and sang in choirs
and programs until his death. He loved
gardening and was always willing
to help others with his handyman skills.
His
greatest legacy in his tremendous
testimony of Jesus Christ and his unwavering
faith in the eternal nature of
the family. He has been an exemplary
father and
grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Helen, St. George and his five children:

here!!! The hospital called us back around
10am yesterday
morning and said that they would
be able to fit us in after all. At 11:30
we were
admitted and the baby arrived at
6:04pm. Becky's labor went pretty well
for the most
part but the delivery was a
little rough. The baby was posterior
(face up), which makes
it much harder for the baby to
pass through the hips. To make matters
worse, the
baby had "de-flexed"
her neck (lifted her chin, extending her neck) thus putting her in
the most difficult position to
deliver in. After 30-40 minutes of
pushing, the doctor was
hinting at the possibility of a
C-Section. However, after a little
shuffling of Becky's
position, the baby rotated
herself and ended up coming out just fine.
She weighed
7lbs 13oz and was about 20 inches
long. She has almost bleach-blond peach
fuzz
hair with a tiny hint of red.
